TotalSim Takes Flight at VFS Forum 81

The TotalSim US team attended the Vertical Flight Society’s 81st Annual Forum during the week of May 19th in Virginia Beach, VA. As the premier international technical event focused on vertical flight technology, the three-day conference featured over 300 technical papers spanning disciplines from Acoustics to Test & Evaluation, along with keynote presentations and panel discussions from leaders in the military, government, and industry. TotalSim US is actively expanding its presence in the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and broader aerospace sectors. At this year’s forum, we showcased our growing capabilities, including our strategic partnership with M4 Engineering, Inc, aimed at delivering comprehensive structural design, prototyping, and testing solutions. We shared a booth with M4 Engineering and received strong interest from attendees. The event was a tremendous success, and we look forward to participating again next year.
Cooling Confidence: CFD for Smarter, Safer Data Center Cooling
In this in-depth blog post, explore how TotalSim partnered with a construction contractor to analyze and optimize the HVAC system of a next-generation data center. Using advanced CFD tools like STAR-CCM+, TotalSim identified thermal risks, ran failure mode simulations, and guided a strategic redesign that improved airflow, eliminated hotspots, and ensured system resilience – even when key HVAC units were offline.
This project showcases the power of simulation in de-risking complex engineering challenges and delivering performance you can count on. Whether you’re planning a new facility or improving an existing one, the insights here could make all the difference.
