A Computational Fluid Dynamics App to Assist University FSAE Teams Outperform the Competition

TotalSim’s TS Auto are here to help teams turn their designs into reality. Our intuitive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) web App can be used to test the applicability of your design. In just a few simple steps, you will simulate how your device will respond to specific conditions.

Using the TS Auto web interface, you upload your 3D CAD geometry, then configure and run a CFD simulation to approximate the flow around, and calculate forces on your vehicle. You can then use a suite of post-processing results to compare and gain insight from key trends and performance data.

Through our partnership with AweSIM, the Ohio Supercomputer Center’s (OSC) modeling and simulation program for manufacturers, you don’t have to worry about having enough computational power to run and store your simulations.

Details of a TotalSim Web Application Sponsorship:

TotalSim will provide the following:

Free access to TS Auto
250 Tokens (retail value of $5000) which is approximately 10-15 simulations.

The Team will provide the following:

A short report at the end of season showing simulation results between initial and final design and describing how TS Auto helped in the Team’s participation in the design competition
Promotion of TotalSim and TS Auto and Ohio SuperComputer Center on website, promotion materials and social media channels of Team
Display of TotalSim/OSC logo on the final project created by the Team.

As part of the sponsorship, all fees are waived. The cost of the Academic Account is covered fully by TotalSim and OSC.
